Greetings baseball fans and players alike! We will be holding tryouts for Baseball Philippines Series VI and Junior Baseball Philippines Series II. Series VI is scheduled to start on April 10, 2010.
Baseball Philippines is the league which showcases great talent from its pool of players from the different universities and colleges. Ranging from young new talents to the more experienced veterans, Baseball Philippines has been the highlight of baseball here in the Philippines. Not only does it showcases talents from universities and colleges nationwide, we also have some Filipino players from abroad who come to play locally and are given the chance to show off their baseball skills.
Other than Baseball Philippines, the Junior Baseball Philippines Series II will also be held simultaneously starring the younger baseball stars of the Philippines. Coming from our local schools, JBP has earned its right to be the league of the young aspirants today of baseball; future star players in the making.
Tryouts for Baseball Philippines Series VI and Junior Baseball Philippines Series II will be held at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium on February 13, 2010. Registration will start at 8:30am and tryouts will officially commence by 9:00am to 12:00nn. Players who participated last series are not obligated to attend the tryouts, but it will be a big plus if you can refresh the coaches with your talent during the tryouts.
For JBP, ages 15-17, new aspiring players are only required to wear proper attire with baseball shoes/rubber shoes, catching/fielding gloves, and to submit their birth certificates. Other equipment needed during the tryouts will be provided for by Baseball Philippines.
